Edge & Connectivity

At the bottom of the stack, edge devices and gateways acquire signals from PLCs, sensors and machines on the plant floor and make them available to publish.

Message Bus — MQTT / Sparkplug B

Edge data is published over an MQTT broker using Sparkplug B — a lightweight, report-by-exception standard that carries context and state efficiently from OT to the enterprise.

IIoT Historian

The historian subscribes to the bus, storing and trending operational data at scale so teams can monitor live and analyse history from one system of record.

Node-RED Ecosystem

On top of the data layer, the Node-RED ecosystem builds dashboards, workflows and applications — turning stored and streaming data into operational decisions.
